The process board is the live view of every case currently running in Cadence. A manager sees where each case sits, which step it is on, and which steps are overdue.
What the board shows
The board holds one row for each running case. A row carries the case, the process it runs, the step it sits on, and whether that step is on time or overdue. A manager reads the whole department at a glance and moves to the case that needs attention.
Reading a case
Each column answers one question about a case. Together they tell a manager which case is running smoothly and which one waits on a step.

The board marks any case whose current step has run past its expected time. A manager reads the overdue cases first and moves the work along.

An overdue case stands out on the board, so a manager finds the late work first and acts on it before the rest of the list.

The board reflects each case as its steps complete. A step marked done on the ward moves its case forward on the board in the same moment, so a manager reads the current state as it stands.
